One standout has been the impersonator of pop sensation Ariana Grande, who not only resembles the star but also delivers performances that mimic her singing voice perfectly.

Among the more entertaining acts are those whose confidence is as impressive as their performances. Recently, two contestants received recognition from the international artists they impersonated – Bruno Mars and Snoop Dogg.

Filipino singer Kent Villarba, or also known as @kentcoustics on TikTok, drew praise from the Grammy-winning artist Bruno Mars during his performance in the Kalokalike segment. Villarba took the stage with a medley of Mars’ iconic hits, including “Just the Way You Are,” “Grenade,” “When I Was Your Man” and “Die with a Smile.”

The audience, including the show’s hosts, was left in awe as Villarba delivered each song with style and enthusiasm, evident in the episode that aired on Oct. 4.

The buzz continued when ABS-CBN shared a clip of Villarba’s performance on Instagram. The Fil-Am singer himself reposted the reel on his Instagram Stories the following day, creating a surge of excitement among fans.

In a separate post by Villarba, he showed his gratitude to his idol, saying, “Thank you for noticing me [Bruno Mars].”
